Want to drop a few pounds of fat? Here are some proven ways to burn body fat.
This alone will get you absolutely shredded if followed correctly. The fat will just melt off your body. Say goodbye to that stubborn fat.
This diet was originally popularized by Vince Gironda; an old-school body builder in the 50s. He definitely knew a thing or two about losing body fat.
2.) Skip Breakfast
Skipping breakfast and only eating lunch and dinner is a form of intermittent fasting. It will allow your body to tap into its stored body fat for energy.
This is personally one of my favorite things to do. Especially the OMAD (One Meal A Day) diet.
3.) Drink Water AFTER Your Meals
Drinking water during your meals will just dilute the stomach acids and hinder your ability to digest the slop you ate. Keep your acid levels up and drink afterwards.
The acid helps digest all the vital nutrients from your food. What’s the point of eating if you do not properly digest the vitamins and nutrients in your food?
A quick tip for optimal hydration:
Try eating some foods lightly cooked (rare) or even raw. I do this with pasture raised eggs.
4.) Eat High Fat W/ Low Carbs OR High Carbs W/ Low Fat
Carbohydrates + Fat = Weight Gain!
The carbohydrates spike insulin (the fat storage hormone) and if you’re eating a bunch of fat with your insulin levels high; guess where all that fat goes? Straight into storage.
So eat one way or the other. I prefer being in a state of ketosis; high fat and low carb is great for overall mental performance and health.
5.) Read Your Food Labels
You will be shocked once you open your eyes and start reading labels. Most food is infested with nasty chemicals like preservatives, artificial sweeteners and other toxins.
Avoid foods that contain:
- Vegetable Oil
- Anything ‘Hydrogenated’
- Excessive Amounts of Sugar
- Soy (It’s a Xenoestrogen that imitates estrogen in the body)
- Preservatives
- GMOs / Hormones, etc.
- High Fructose Corn Syrup
- Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)
I like to keep things very simple. If a Franken-food has more than 3 or 4 ingredients; I’ll ditch it.
Next time you’re at the grocery store; try to find something that doesn’t contain one of the above ingredients. I think you will be surprised with how difficult it is.
Until Next Time,
Frun
