Could the guidelines forcing us to stay home actually be causing us to become more sick?
In some shape or form, yes, I believe they do.
Staying home has been WEAKENING our immune systems in three ways:
- Less Sunlight
- Limited Exercise
- Unhealthy Eating
Paul Saladino recently came out with an interesting data point.
It concerns vitamin D levels and the severity of Covid-19 symptoms.
Check it out:
As you can see, higher vitamin D levels infer less severe symptoms from Covid-19.
“But Doctor Fauci hasn’t referenced this research so it can’t be true?!”
Just because Dr. Fauci hasn’t said anything doesn’t make it false.
Vitamin D plays an enormous role in immune system function.
Could being locked up with limited amounts of sunlight be harming more people than it helps?
That’s a question you will have to answer yourself.
There’s no denying that people are also exercising less and succumbing to unhealthy habits.
I feel exercise is fairly self-explanatory.
Concerning unhealthy habits, people have been eating more garbage and drinking like fish.
Online alcohol sales have skyrocketed 243% as stated in this article.
People are storming grocery stores to buy ‘comfort foods’ like cereal, baked goods and other factory-made items as stated in this article I came across.
We know these foods contain high levels of processed sugars, inflammatory vegetable oils and carcinogenic preservatives.
Yet, we down these foods like a starving dog because of their addictive nature.
The problem with these foods is that they also impair immune system function.
Specifically, the insulin resistance caused by them degrades your body’s defenses.
Metabolic dysfunction should be the main topic in the media.
Yet, the media and health industries ‘fail’ to bring this to your attention because they need to make a profit by putting you on medications and ventilators.
It’s an unfortunate reality.
We need to start taking our health into our own hands and stop outsourcing it to institutions that don’t have our best interests at heart.
The more we carelessly outsource this duty of ours, the more we will pay dearly with our health.
I think anyone would agree that the side effects of being quarantined are making us MORE susceptible to the virus.
As for getting the virus or not, that’s a different story.
However, what happens when everything opens back up?
Everyone will be running around spreading the virus whilst being more susceptible to Covid-19.
If this virus is as infectious as they say it is, we may all unknowingly and inevitably come in contact with it.
After all, there are people who have tested positive and are asymptomatic. (Asymptomatic means the infected individuals don’t show any symptoms)
This article references a study that observes asymptomatic individuals:
“A small clinical study from Nanjing, China, followed 24 people who tested positive but didn’t show overt symptoms at the time. In the one to three weeks after diagnosis, seven continued showing no symptoms.”
While the subjects of this study were younger, it is apparent that the spread can happen unknowingly amongst asymptomatic individuals.
So, how do we prevent this from becoming worse than what it needs to be?
We should get healthy.
The first thing we should address is diet.
Try out the Steak & Eggs Diet for newfound energy, mental clarity and weight-loss.
Supplement vitamin D if you don’t get enough sun.
Exercise by taking a run around the block or doing pushups every morning.
While each of these things are underrated by themselves; when you combine diet, supplementation and exercise they make a powerful difference.
I’d like to hear what everyone else thinks about this situation we are currently in.
Do we lift the quarantine?
Would it be smart to reopen businesses?
Should we take any further precautions?
Leave a comment below and let’s talk!
These are uncertain times and if we want to get through this, we will have to get through it together!
Until Next Time,
