Today is my birthday.
Every year, on my birthday, I like to reflect on the things I’ve done and how I have changed.
There is no doubt that I have changed a lot and accomplished many things.
However, this year is a little different.
I didn’t think about myself.
In fact, I am thinking about others.
As you know, we are currently living in some hectic times.
Businesses are closed, the market is crashing and most importantly, people are dying.
The coronavirus has taken the world to the trenches.
Trenches we will have to climb back out of.
In times like these, it’s important to be thankful for your health.
If you are in bad health, this should be an eye-opener to start caring more about your health.
This virus is essentially natural selection.
The strong will survive and the weak will die.
This blog is all about making you vital and strong.
In the United States, nearly 40% of adults 20 years+ are obese.
Obesity is a risk factor for many things including:
- Diabetes
- High Blood Pressure
- Sleep Apnea
Unfortunately, if any country is going to be hit the hardest by this pandemic, it will likely be the United States.
Infamously known for fast food, laissez faire attitudes and unlimited entertainment.
Now is the time we recognize this and change for the better.
We should no longer accept and support institutions that deteriorate our health and wellbeing.
We need to stop giving these things power over us.
We need to start taking control of our own destiny.
You want to be healthy?
Take control.
You want to be wealthy?
Take control.
You want to make an impact in this world?
Take control.
Taking control isn’t difficult.
Yet, people make it difficult.
“Frun, it’s hard trying to be healthy and wealthy and this and that!”
It’s also hard being sick.
It’s also hard being poor.
Choose your hard.
I know I would rather have a difficult time being healthy and wealthy than a difficult time being sick and poor.
Take control of your life.
Change your perspective.
Aspire for more.
Until Next Time,
Frun
