Salutations everyone! This post is a special one. It defines the ideal person I would like to work with and that should read this blog.
The same way you will have expectations of me; I will have expectations of you.
Expectations are good for us. They raise the bar and hold us to higher standards in life.
I have created an imaginary person. His name is John and below I will describe the traits of this ideal reader John.
John:
He cares about self-improvement.
If you do not care for self-improvement, you might as well leave this site right now.
Improving yourself is going to be one of the main premises of this blog.
Wants to live a long and meaningful life.
This goes hand-in-hand with the self-improvement part. If you drink like a degenerate and/or smoke like a chimney; chances are, you’re not putting your maximum effort into living a long and meaningful life.
To clarify, I am not saying don’t enjoy yourself. Have a few drinks on some weekends. Everything in moderation.
He is accountable.
If you cannot hold yourself accountable, it will be nearly impossible to succeed in anything.
Having control over your actions AND thoughts is key.
Has an open mind.
This blog will challenge things that you believe. Thus, it is important to keep an open mind.
Open mindedness is how we get ahead and discover new things.
He is determined to be a top performer.
Without the urge to be better and do better, you aren’t going to do anything at all.
This blog is for doing, learning and advancing; not kicking dirt around and wasting time.
Has passion and drive.
Someone with passion and drive has a reason to become better and advance in life.
Passion and drive give us purpose and meaning in this world of distraction.
Willing to challenge his current paradigm.
Again, this blog will challenge your current thoughts and beliefs.
He wants to help others.
After learning and furthering your life with this blog; it is then YOUR DUTY to help others with your newfound knowledge.
Whether you tell others or share this site with them; there is a plethora of sick people that need help.
Some people do not realize how sick they are because they have been sick their entire life; they think it’s the normal way to feel.
So help others after you help yourself. That’s all I ask.
Until Next Time,
Frun
