I have a very special diet to share with you today. That diet is the steak and eggs diet.
Vince Gironda, a professional bodybuilder during the 50s, popularized the steak and eggs diet.
This diet is for those looking to get lean and mean! Not big and bloofy.
Among Vince and other famous bodybuilders was Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I find this bit funny: Vince actually called Arnold a “fat fuck”.
Some people respected him for his crass no-bullshit attitude. Others hated him.
Nonetheless, he contributed vastly to the concept of bodybuilding.
Back to the diet…
Some people actually believe that counting calories and taking supplements to activate fat burning work. It doesn’t.
We know that HORMONES have everything to do with weight loss. (I’m talking insulin and hormone sensitive lipase)
Yet, all the people counting their calories and taking their supplements will end up in the same place they started – with excess body fat.
If you want to get SHREDDED, the best way to do it is with the steak and eggs diet.
You eat two meals per day. Breakfast and dinner or lunch and supper.
For each meal you will eat around one pound of steak and 3 to 6 eggs.
Cook up your steak and eggs in a bunch of butter; then season salt and pepper to taste.
You can prepare the steak and eggs however you like.
No carbohydrates are included in this diet. No vegetables, fruits or grains.
For drinks, just black coffee, unsweetened tea and water.
Every sixth day will be a cheat day where nothing is off-limits.
So five days of steak and eggs and a day of indulgence and gluttony. Repeat this regimen until lean.
It’s simple, that’s all there is to it and you will watch the fat disintegrate from your body.
Only Steak & Eggs? That’s Impossible!
Everything in life is only mentally hard. For those without willpower or discipline; of course it will be impossible.
Once you start habitually eating this way, it becomes easier and easier as you do it since it will become a part of your routine.

During the first week of this diet, it is not unheard of to lose 6 to 8 pounds and after a month, 20 pounds.
This diet is also great for detoxing. It lowers your insulin, increases insulin sensitivity and will lower inflammation throughout your body.
How About All The Saturated Fat?
Contrary to what most resourcing and people believe, fat is essential for proper growth and development.
Take a look around at all the people who generally avoid fat; they’re all fat.
The plan is simple: eat fat until satiety and enjoy the benefits of being a healthy and vital human.
How Will Steak & Eggs Give Me Balanced Energy?
The steak and eggs diet has no carbohydrates in it.
For this reason, you will have prolonged and balanced energy throughout the day.
You see, when you eat carbs, your blood sugar / energy goes up.
Then, your insulin spikes to bring the blood glucose down.
This essentially creates a roller-coaster effect with your energy levels.
We’re all too familiar with the after-lunch slump due to the carbs consumed. It makes you just want to sleep.
Long story short, when you’re not spiking your insulin with carbs, you will enjoy steady levels of energy all day.

Absolutely not. It is only when you eat fat along with CARBOHYDRATES that you gain fat.

You will also notice after your carb cheat day that you look bigger in the mirror.
This is because a no carb / ketogenic diet will deplete your muscle glycogen.
When you eat carbs, your muscles will fill with water and give you a pumped up look.
