I recently bought myself a luxury watch.
Not because I want to look cool or anything.
For anyone wondering, it’s actually an investment as I plan on reselling it.
The watch is gorgeous but by no means is a Patek Philippe. (Like the movement shown in the featured image of this post)
The Ulysse Nardin embodies a maritime soul.
I love the ocean so it felt very fitting for me.
The specific model I got is called the Maxi Marine Diver.
It has quite the wrist presence with a 43mm case size.
Along with the stainless steel + white dial combo, it makes for a very eye-pleasing piece.
It looks even crazier in the dark! Check out the luminescence.
Wearing this watch made me realize something though.
Time is the essence of life.
“Well, obviously Frun!”
Just think about it for a few minutes.
- Think about how time passes.
- Think about how we spend time.
- Think about how we waste time.
When you really understand that time is the essence of life, you will never want to waste your time again.
When you waste time, you are wasting life.
Be conscious of how you spend your time on this Earth.
Spend time creating meaningful relationships and projecting positivity.
There are so many things that devour our time:
- Social Media
- School
- Work
- Friends
- Television
That isn’t to say don’t go to school, don’t work and don’t have friends.
That is to say:
Make sure you are going to school for something meaningful.
Make sure you work for something you wholeheartedly believe in.
Make sure the friends you associate with help them and you ascend to new heights.
It’s easy to get caught up in the cycles of life.
I notice people waste time on the most pointless things:
- Endless drama.
- Working a dead-end job.
- Chasing things that won’t fulfill you.
- Watching show after show on Netflix.
Stop wasting your time!
I know you know you could be doing something so much more impactful.
Sometimes we really need to stop and think about what we’re actually doing and where we are headed.
Take a day to yourself and reflect.
- Go for a walk at the park.
- Hit the beach if you’re outdoorsy.
- Grab a fishing rod and catch some fish.
Think about what it is you’re trying to accomplish in this life and how you can get there.
Who are you trying to be?
Do you have anything to prove?
What do you want your life to look like?
We need time like this to reset and realign ourselves for what’s to come.
I’m sure nobody wants to envision themselves in 10 years fat, eating chips sitting on a couch watching Netflix and sleeping all day.
If this is the future you do envision for yourself, you’re in the wrong place.

THIS BLOG IS FOR WINNERS NOT WHINERS.
I want everyone to envision the BEST version of themselves and become that.
The clock is ticking.
Don’t blindly let time pass and get caught up in the moment of everything.
That’s a sure way to let your life flash before your eyes…
Before you know it, we’ll all be on our deathbeds.
You will likely think about two things:
All the things you did.
And all the things you didn’t do.
Let that sink in.
Until Next Time,
Frun
