It wasn’t too long ago when I ordered a steak from Longhorn Steakhouse.
I remember thinking to myself: “No big deal, it’s just a steak.”
Oh boy, was I wrong.
Not even 5-10 minutes after eating that steak; my stomach was KILLING me.
Two thoughts came to my mind.
Either…
1.) The butter I was eating the steak with wasn’t real butter. (Fake margarine)
Or…
2.) The steak was cooked in a bath of vegetable oil.
I asked the waiter out of curiosity what was used to cook the steak and if it was served with butter or margarine.
And as usual… no one really knew anything.
So I was left with no information and a painful stomach ache.
The reason I say restaurants suck is simply because they do.
Not necessarily because they themselves want to suck, but because they have to suck.
A restaurant exists to generate a profit.
Plain and simple.
They’re going to do whatever it takes to keep the costs as low as possible.
So how does a restaurant cut costs?
They use margarine over butter.
They cook with vegetable oil instead of lard or butter.
Subpar ingredients are downright unhealthy for us.
They also have cheap sugary foods that they up-sell to you when you’re finished with your meal called ‘dessert’.
On top of using subpar ingredients and unhealthy food, you have people who work there that don’t necessarily want to be there.
They hate their jobs and are waiting to punch out when the shifts over.
This leaves you (the customer) with food that was prepared with ill / negative energy.
So now, they have you paying for:
- Subpar ingredients
- Unhealthy food
- Negative energy
- Stomach aches
You’re basically a sucker for paying for such garbage.
If you want food that invigorates you with energy and vitality; cook your own food and quit eating junk!
Instead, eat the Steak & Eggs Diet and thank me later when you realize how much better you feel.
On a side note, I’ve always thought about opening up my own restaurant.
A special one though.
One that strictly serves food that will get people back into their healthy and natural state…
Meats:
- Beef
- Lamb
- Pork
Fish:
- Cod
- Tuna
- Salmon
- Swordfish
- Red Snapper
Cheese:
- Goat Cheese
- Cow Cheese
- Sheep Cheese
… And delicacies like bone marrow, bone broth and escargot.
We’ll see what the future holds.
One thing at a time.
Until Next Time,
Frun
